I love Mariah but her vocal techniques were not that healthy plus the nodules in her throat made it difficult for her to sing in mid range which made her singing limited in that sense. I'm not an expert on this but this is just how I see it: much of the reason she can barely sing now was probably that of unhealthy vocal disciplines; so, correct me if I'm wrong. However, one thing I am very sure of is that the reason Regine can still slay belting notes even at her age was definitely attributed to her healthy vocal disciplines. Also, I'm so fed up with people who keep comparing professional singers at the expense of the other. These types of people need to seek psychological help. Mga kulang sa aruga ng magulang o jowa. Can't we just celebrate and appreciate all these talented performers without badmouthing someone?

There is absolutely nowhere to hide when trying to sing delicate falsetto in a live setting. You can do it flawlessly in the comfort of your own home, but to be able to sing that stuff under pressure takes a whole other level of confidence. Thom is definitely an inspiration.
